Not if you were there. It really hung together in its appealingly sloppy way.

Blues by Year : 1974 -
feat M Waters, B Guy, B Wyman, O Rush & more,
radio sources, please read

During the past 12 years, i did many blues posts here but i still have other archives (shorter broadcasts sessions from various artists) deserving an upload.
In order to make this not lost and to share all i have, i decided to built torrents by year.
I hope this will please huge blues fans.

This first volume is a mix between my own recordings and archives from the French Gentleman (kindly provided years ago by dimer Unclemeat).
I needed time to explore this material and leave besides what was officially released.
The songs here are from mono radio recordings (FM & AM) made on reels and quality varies (radio reception, tapes condition).
The recording quality will be better as the years goes passing by (...).

Tapes - digital transfers - files on PC - Audacity (creating 2 tracks from mono, declicks, eq, volume, FLAC export, ...) - md5 with TLH.

The sources :

During the 1974 Montreux festival, Buddy Guy, Jr Wells & Muddy Waters recorded the "Messin' With The Blues" video / DVD (also published on CD) - see [www.youtube.com] ; France Inter broadcasted live that night and many non official tunes were captured, here they are.

Band in Montreux 28 june 1974 for the main set :
Bass – Bill Wyman
Drums – Dallas Taylor
Guitar – Terry Taylor
Guitar, Vocals – Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters
Harmonica, Vocals – Junior Wells

A live Muddy Waters CD was published years after his show in Antibes 24 July 1974 from the France Inter radio recording. This station broadcasted an instrumental tune played by his band and not featured on the regular record : it's also here.

Muddy Waters band in Antibes 1974 is the classic line up : Bob Margolin, Luther Gtr Johnson, Pinetop Perkins, Jerry portnoy, Calvin Jones & Willie Smith

There is also a tune from The Ice Band in Antibes 1974 :
Frank Abel Keyboards with
Ronnie James, Arthur Young, Lafayette Thompson, + congas & drums

We have also a session from the Blues sur Seine festival, Paris xx xx 1974 by the Memphis Blues Stars of Tennessee

And to finish, here are some tunes from the Chicago Blues festival tour 1974, Paris fall 1974 (featuring Sunnyland Slim, Otis Rush & J Dawkins).

RE London Wembley Stadium 1990-08-25 :
it's quite funny that after playing "sympathy" roughly a 100 times since Aug.89 they still managed to mess up twice that night : once at the beginning of the song, and once at the very end.
