The one thing that bugs me is that the band have been around since 1962. They can afford to present their live music sounding its best. Yet I've heard the sound is crap from several concert goers. Maybe if Mickette dispensed with the trillion dollar video screens so them in the cheap seats can count his wrinkles, and invest that money in a reliable sound system, there'd be no complaints about the sound.

That said, when you're only in the biz of touring to line your pockets and you don't give a tinker's cuss what the great unwashed can hear, what the f does it matter?

Have those concert goers been to indoor shows?
Those shows indeed sound like crap if you are not in the front rows.
Even outdoors it's a problem when you are in the back (echo) or with massive roof over the stands (Stuttgart 2018 for example).

I doubt the sound system is causing those problems. Never heard of good sounding shows by any band in those (indoor) stadiums.

THE ROLLING STONES

OLYMPIA STADIUM
DETROIT, MICHIGAN
NOVEMBER 24TH, 1969

01-JUMPING JACK FLASH
02-CAROL
03-SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL
04-STRAY CAT BLUES
05-LOVE IN VAIN
06-PRODIGAL SON
07-YOU GOT TO MOVE
08-UNDER MY THUMB
09-MIDNIGHT RAMBLER
10-LIVE WITH ME
11-LITTLE QUEENIE
12-(I CAN'T GET NO) SATISFACTION
13-HONKY TONK WOMEN
14-STREET FIGHTING MAN

Excellent audience recording (stereo?) from the BEST of the original vinyl sources, which is the "We Didn't Really Get It On Until Detroit-M. Jagger" double LP with the purple label reading "The Stones Detroit".

I was fortunate enough to find a very clean original copy of this LP which is quite rare and seems to be the first release of this recording. My suspicion is that it was done locally (in Detroit) which is where I found this copy. The master tape has never surfaced so original vinyl is all we have!

I used NO EQ for this transfer, just the occasional removal of vinyl surface noise ticks or pops, normalized to 0db and I smoothed out a couple of the transitions where the LP sides ended and began with short crossfades.

Falo, in answer to your question, I saw the Kingdome show on October 15th, 1981. No issues with the sound in an indoor stadium with 74,000 concertgoers. One thing I will never forget. The friend who went with me was a dee-vo-tee of constant marijuana smoking. So, I was off me nut, stoned to my nipples and back.
During the second song, I heard a rumbling starting on the floor behind the stage, and progress through the enormous concrete beams up to the roof. I was convinced the damn roof would fall on top of us.

Mark had some mysterious issues with about a dozen or so
glitches throughout the recording.
Most were pretty short-brief.
I've fixed them all one way or another and most are completely
disguised and unfindable now. Once or twice you may still
hear a slight anomaly.
I applied some eq tweaks and we're good to go!
I don't do brick-wall limiting, turn it up!!

This version is cd ready. Split where you will, maybe between
the two Keith tunes.

Enjoy!!

Imho it sounds notably better than the DAC title of the same show/tape but some tracks run too fast on the torrent.

Only because even though I had 4th row I followed the B stage to center field and back so maybe smooth those out a little better. No reason to just stand in my spot with my mics pointing at an empty stage and these were my only floor seats of the tour.
