You may have a connectability (pfew...) problem, bro! It's well-seeded.
Anwyay it seems to be a slight upgrade over the previous transfert so you don't miss much.

That tape runs too fast, something between 4% and 6,5%...

I'm hardly surprised... KRW_CO does a great job but he often posts tapes "as is" i.e. too slow or too fast.

The best option would be to speed-correct the tape using cd2 of DAC-015 as a guide/model. The boot sounds horrible (metallic and over-amplified) but it runs at the right speed.

I don't like the 69 tour much but one has to admit it's a strong show.
And it's great to be able to listen to a 1969 tape from a verified low-gen. It makes the claims that some boots from this tour are taken from Master, rather questionable (MSG I Nov.27 comes to mind).

(my comment : average recording of a very poor show. And this tape runs much too fast! DAC-076 is the one to pick. And for you 1981 masochists there's another wonderfully bad and lifeless version of LIB here >grinning smiley< ]

Well if you know Audacity you can slow down the speed of the tape by 3,8% and you'll be good.

HERE'S HOW THIS WENT. DR. JOHN WAS GOING BACK AND FORTH
BETWEEN NEW ORLEANS AND NYC AND HAD A PLACE NOT FAR
FROM THE LONE STAR CAFE SO HE PLAYED THERE ON A REGULAR BASIS.
WE HAD MANY CHANCES TO HANG OUT WITH HIM AT THE SHOWS
AND HE ALWAYS HAD GREAT STORIES. HE GAVE ME THE OK TO PLUG
INTO THE BOARD THIS NIGHT. AT THE TIME OF THIS SHOW, DR. JOHN'S
BASS PLAYER WAS THE GREAT WILBUR BASCOMB. WILBUR WAS ALSO
WORKING WITH MICK TAYLOR'S BAND. BETWEEN SHOWS I WAS IN
THE DRESSING ROOM WITH MY GOOD FRIEND BOBBY WHEN MICK
CAME IN TO SEE WILBUR. I NOTICED THIS AND MENTIONED IT
TO MY FRIEND AND SUGGESTED THAT MAYBE MICK COULD SIT IN
WITH DR. JOHN. WE FIRST WENT TO DR. JOHN AND TOLD HIM THAT
MICK WOULD LIKE TO SIT IN FOR A FEW. WE THEN SAID TO MICK
THAT DR. JOHN WOULD LIKE HIM TO SIT IN. APPARENTLY OUR LITTLE
PLAN WORKED AS THEY BOTH AGREED. MICK CAME UP FOR THREE SONGS.
PROBABLY NOT BEING TOO FAMILIAR WITH THE NEW ORLEANS STYLE,
DURING THE FIRST SONG HE SEEMED A LITTLE UNSURE OF HIMSELF.
AFTER THE FIRST SONG I WAS AT THE SB CALLING FOR
A BLUES SINCE I KNEW MICK WOULD DO BETTER IN THAT SETTING.
THE SECOND SONG WAS A MEDIUM TEMPO BLUES SHUFFLE AND
IT WAS GOOD FOR EVERYONE. THE FINAL SONG WAS PRETTY STRAIGHT AHEAD
AND WORKED WELL TOO.

Comments:

Opening night of the North American leg of the Stones' "No Filter" tour. The setlist is mostly a continuation of the 2018 performances, with the exception of "Sad Sad Sad" taking the slot of a new song, and "You Got Me Rocking" as the fan vote (I suspect the ballot box was "stuffed," since I don't know anyone who likes that song). Very solid career retrospective for casual fans, who of course are the target audience of stadium shows. As much as I would have liked to see some additional deep cuts, the setlist met my expectations.

In terms of performance, when you watch Mick and Ron onstage, it is hard to believe that they are 75 and 72, respectively. The two of them worked the full width of the stage nonstop with enthusiasm and showed no sign of wearing out. Keith, on the other hand, I felt looked and sounded every bit of his 75 years; his guitar licks were much more economical and his overall presence was far more reserved than prior tours. He still has the chops, but he seems to have scaled down his involvement.

I was really happy with the recording overall. I was front row side stage, slightly out of line with the left stack. I would have liked to have been one section to the right, but overall the sound was good. I deliberately wore a heavy leather jacket with the collar flipped up to shield the mics (thank you, 58-degree "summer" Chicago weather) and it blocked out the cheers and chatting of my neighbors. There is practically no crowd interference, which is great.

This was a fun show overall, and though obviously I haven't spent much time with the recording (the show ended 2 1/2 hours ago as I write this), I think people will find it enjoyable. There were some opening night flubs -- Ron missed the cue for a couple guitar solo, "Satisfaction" got tangled up in the coda, and the first few numbers had some gaffes -- but overall a really solid performance. There were some issues with the sound (particularly the vocals, which inexplicably dropped down in the mix periodically) but I think on a casual listen they won't be noticeable.

There may be sources that come from $2500 rigs (and I hope there are) but in the meantime, I thought this would be an acceptable document of the show for those who are interested.

Mp3 samples are included in the comments.
