TornAndFrayed (mjake) notes:
Dug this one out of the bin yesterday and enjoyed listening to it so I thought I´ll post it here...
I received this rare tape in a trade long ago and it´s different from the incomplete and near-excellent source found on "Missing Jewels".
The recording sounds a bit distant, slightly muffled and distorted but it´s well balanced and pretty listenable. Still, I would only recommend this to diehard fans and completists because the overall quality is average at best. Please check the samples before downloading.
There are a few cuts (mostly between songs) but this should be the most complete source available for this date.
I think (part of) this recording had been posted here before in inferior quality but I´m not sure.
This was the second to last show of a six-nights-in-a-row stand at MSG and IMO, this - along with the final night the next day - is the best performance of them. Jagger is slightly hoarse but the band´s playing (Keith in particular) is great throughout.

Isotope is ReelStone... >< >< >< ><
Anyway the guitars are tragically low in the mix and the tape runs too fast. So...
a tempest in a teapot?
"It'll be a good show, I promise" said Keef to Chet Flippo in Oshawa.
