I see a lot of people referencing 'Dime' and getting recordings from there. The Dimeadozen website (what I assume people are referring to) seems to always be full....no memberships available.

Does it ever open up to new members?

They only allow 100,000 users at one time.
However, if you don't use the account, it becomes inactive and this is when you can sneak in and get your own account.
Whenever you are at the computer, always try to register with Dime because YOU WILL NOT be disappointed.
It is an amazing site with so many titles to choose from.
10 out of 10, not another site quite like it that I am aware of.
It took me a couple of weeks before I got my account.

Persistence will get you in as noted in the prior reply. Once you get in make sure you set whatever torrent app you use to allow uploading during and after you DL something. This way you can make sure your share ratio stays on the good side and builds. I use the "U-torrent" app, though there are a few others. Be sure to read what torrent apps are allowed for use on Dime. You don't have to DL anything when you visit the site, but if you visit the site once a day or so after your account is set up, you should be good for keeping your Dime account active.

Just make Dimeadozen your browsers homepage. After two or three weeks you will be veeery happy

Done it myself a couple of days ago. Kept on the page for 2x 10 minutes and finally got in..
