Here’s Rockpile from back in the day. This is old school rock’n’roll. Three names of band members I can remember off the top of me head: Nick Lowe, Dave Edmunds, Billy Bremmer; the fourth…? This was an FM broadcast. This show will take some IORR folks back to the days of their youth when Costello, Lowe, Joe Jackson, The Clash, along with many others, came into the picture as part of what was called the Punk and New Wave sounds. It was also the era of Disco – go figure. No art work came with this. This is a self-extracting zip: Two clicks. Enjoy!

I think the drummer was called Williams ,can't remember his first name ,he used to play with Man and later went on to play with Dire Straights as I recall .
Saw Rockpile a few times in them days at the original Roundhose Camden.

This is available on Dime. I may have Dl'd it from there after getting it on disk from someone. I'll have to check one of my storage drives for it. If I have it as a flac torrent, I'll repost it sometime over this weekend as flac or wav files - your call.

aaaah, how could I forget this! Bottom Line 1978, of course.

does anybody have this Bottom Line show with Keith in great quality? I have the show, but its on an old vinyl boot with less than stellar soundquality.

I guess a lot of people here would be interested to get this show in great quality.

I love Rockpile, having seen them a couple of times in '78...those guys KICKED BUTT.

I have checked my "vault" , I have it on an old tape, but that cannot be played anymore!

I have experienced this a few times and I don't know what kind of "tape desease" this is, it seems the tape falls apart or dissolves, you play the tape for one minute and the heads are covered with at least one millimeter of dirty filth, and you have to spend three days to clean them up!!!
