Waylon did the great collaboration album with Willie Nelson and others, ?Outlaws? and, on his own, the wonderful ?Honky Tonk Heroes? album on which all of the songs were written by Billy Joe Shaver. Waylon?s greatest hits album is a must have and on his, ?Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way??, you can hear where the Stones picked up part of their take on ?Just My Imagination? from the ?Some Girls? album (play both songs back to back, Waylon first). Billy Joe Shaver has issued a number of albums under his own name and the group name of Shaver. The group?s first album, ?Tramp On Your Street?, is still one of the best Americana/alternative country/old country music/country rock albums I?ve ever heard. If you don?t have this album it?s worth finding and adding to your collection. As always?Enjoy!
