Are you sure this is the San Diego 81 show? When was this broadcast?

I don' t konw the date of the broadcast. On the artwork is written that it is a re-broadcast but no special date.
The radio announcer said before the first song that this concert was recorded in San Diego 1981, so I' m pretty sure that it is from there.

I also downloaded from somewhere (thanks to the original poster) the American 'original' broadcast which has the following songs (again in 320kbps):

So less songs overall - but 3 different ones *

Listening again - it is definitely 1981 no matter what the presenter says - but some of the duplicate songs sound the same while others sound slightly different - possibly one or two from other dates??

I just read in a book that 'KBFH' recorded the 2 concerts in Pontiac (01.12.) and in Washington (07.12.) of the Stones in 1981.
There is no advice that they recorded the San Diego show.
I have both shows and just try to figure out if those upper recordings are of these dates.
But it will take some time

The KBFH San Diego show you posted is not the same as the Silverdome of 01.12.81, there is no doubt about that. It is evident by simply listening to tracks that they are different gigs. Do not have Washington show, so not sure about that. Anyway, still a great post (you've been busy lately). Thank you very much!

Thanks for both uploads. The voice over on Under My Thumb on Zagalo's second upload is, "Thank you Washington DC for waiting...." So maybe this is 7 12 81 Landover - 15 miles from Washington DC.

Satisfaction was not played in San Diego '81.Street Fighting Man was played instead that night.

How about the fact that "Honky Tonk Women" is taken from the 1978 tour??????

Did you ever figure out if this was in fact the well known KBFH tracks or something else? I tried to give you enough time...

Nicely said, Erik, but in my 'beginnings' I also haven' t listened carefully enough to things. But, that shouldn' t sound as an excuse, I haven' had the sources to compare things. These have come more and more in the last few years.
That' s why I have posted mp3 instead of flac. Now I wouldn' t do that again.

Same here, but lately I spend most of my time watching dvd, mostly for the reason I had a crashed 2TB extenal and get lost knowing what is left in my collection.

There is no such thing as KBFH San Diego 81. KBFH didn't record there. It's a compilation of other recorded tracks from other cities and dates.

That's what I also said above....but I edited my post as it seemed to "angry"
And it's easy for downloaders to compare this with Largo and Pontiac (etc), but nobody seems to do that.
I guess it's better to live in the imagination that they have a SBD rec of San Diego ;-)
