Glasgow 82 question ?

Is there in circulation a decent copy of this show I have 2 versions though I suspect they are really from the same original source.
One is way too fast and the other also seems fast to me if not as fast as the other one, they were presumably recorded on cassettes ,notorious for speed fluctuations over time, but surely someone somewhere has managed to correct the speed, there are some fantastic brains out there who just love messing about with old material to get a reasonable sound .
Hears hoping someone out there has the answers

Sorry I can't help, my '82 section is meagre. By a coincidence I'm working on speed correcting Glagow 5/12/76 which also runs fast

Speed corrections are quite easy to do actually, all you need is a decent audio proggie, I believe the freeware Audacity does this, I use cooleditpro2, the trick is figuring out how much to change by, once you've got that, one click & the proggie does it all.

I have a copy of the second portion of the show.... from "Let me go " onwards.
15 songs.
It's definately an audience copy , I was at the show with a mate who recorded it. Not the best quality and only on cassette but if you want a copy I can send it...

that would be very kind of you,a comparison could then be drawn as to whether the versions I have are of a similar quality or as I suspect worse than your one.
I'll send you a copy of the version I have in return see what you think.
My email address is on my profile
