At my age, it seems that all my idols and references are falling like flies.
Not really true, after all James lived up to 73, and what a life he led.
Far from falling like a fly.
Anyway, the feeling remains.
Everywhere you look, someone is gone.
The other side of life is becoming more attractive than this one....

I like to remember James Brown for a lil' while; he was great, he invented something before people and music show biz was ready for it; funky raised up five years later he started it !
I remember trying to understand the words of his songs, tryin'to learn them while & trying to playin' them in the band i was singing. It' was impossible, it was impossible to re create that groove ... ok we were even a bunch of @#$%& !
Strange thing, the audience appreciated anyway those wonderful songs (I feel goood, Papa's got a Brand new bag, and Living in America).
Thanks for everything James, with love
Rest in Peace and god bless James Brown

Yeah. It makes me afraid to think about it really. The Stones are all in their sixties (Almost). If James Brown dies at such a tender age, then maybe The Stones will pretty much be gone in ten years (Except maybe Charlie and Bill). I shiver at the sheer thought of it.
