Does anyone have problem with Saint of Me?In 2 minutes I think you hear a voice or something like that. It's so annoying that I can't hear it on the stereo.

Hi Strato!

I know which part you mean.
I guess some a**hole wanted to set a mark for himself there.
Anyway, this annoying sound takes just a second in this brilliant video.
I'm sure that it is possible to filter that out with any audio/video software.
But I don't have the time to improve every video that I do upload.

I didn't want to say it but because of the high volume, every time I hear that,I am scared for that sec(don't know how to say it better).Hope I can fix it,because the video quality is perfect, the Stones look perfect.

Many thanks for this. The last clip from 1964 is the TAMI show. There's a shot of someone in the audience holding up a sign welcoming the Stones to the TAMI show. WinZip opened the file for me...took about five minutes. Then, it played okay in WIndows Media Player. Will try a few others when I finish DL'ing. I'll see if WinZIp does the trick. Again, thanks for all.

Brown Sugar is not the version from the truck in 1975. Do you have that one?

Oh, is the "Top of the Pops"- Version ?
I guess I've uploaded the wrong one then. I'm going to upload the Truck-Version until Thursday evening.

Hi there!
I'm a 17-year old Stones-fan from the Netherlands (I went to the Amsterdam Arena this summer: front of stage right in front of Keith!) and I've been hanging around this forum for a couple of months now. I've already downloaded 10 gigabytes of beautiful and historical recordings from this forum!!! This forum is the discovery of the year for me! Thank you all for uploading this wonderful stuff!

Ludwig8745, I appreciate your post very much! These movies are at least good stuff for the real fans, and are movies you don't find that easily on Kazaa/bittorrent/limewire etc! I've downloaded them all, and now I have a beatiful large collection of Stones vids. These are in better quality than on the bootleg DVD 'The Rolling Stones Video Collection 1980-2001 on DVD' I bought last september. On that DVD, the sound isn't synchrone to the footage.

My question is: how can I make my own RS video DVD with the movies I downloaded? I want it to be a real dvd with a menu etc. to be played on a home cinema set. I can't do it with Nero!? because I can only burn 'videofiles' such as .VOB to a DVD with Nero. Can anybody tell me how to make those mpg's suitable for a DVD does anybody know a free programm for making a dvd with a menu etc?

I also downloaded Chuck Berry's Hail Hail Rock N' Roll movie and Rolling Stones @#$%& Blues and Ladies And Gentlemen (all as .AVI files) via eMule. I want to burn those on dvd too (to play them on a home cinema set). But how can I burn them to DVD? I can't do that with Nero: they have to be .VOB files first. How can I convert them to the .VOB format without quality loss? Does anybody have a free software programm for it?

I hope someone can help me out with it. Thanks a lot!

Greetings from Holland (Veldhoven),

Rolf

Hello Ludwig,

When I download Anybody Seen My Baby and attempt to convert it, the file type is listed as "psxstr" and when converted to an mp4, there is no video display, only static.

There is a 2 second difference in the footage and audio in Saint Of Me and a slight difference in Harlem Shuffle. I do not know if this is a problem on my end.

Love Is Strong and Out Of Tears are missing the first 1 or 2 seconds. Again, I do not know if this is a problem on my end.

Convert a video file to mp4 ??? And please ONLY USE Winzip Version 10.0 or higher for extracting the Zip-files. Other programs will not work!

Otherwise you also can download and use VLC Media Player. This player plays far more video files as Windows Media Player does.

See my last answer.

Good luck.

I am using Winzip 11.0. And I convert these files to mp4, a video format compatible with the Apple iPod. I do not use Windows Media Player.

When the ASMB file is listed as "psxstr", it says that it is the "Sony Playstation STR" format. Did you take the video from a PSP or any Playstation console?

No, I didn't. I really don't know why it says that this is a psxstr file. The same video is playing on my Media Player and VLC player without any problems. Perhaps you should try an other player to see if it works there?

The file works fine and is listed as an mpg when played in iTunes or Windows Media Player, but when converted to another type of file, it turns into 5 minutes of static. The only time this does not happen is when I convert it using Streamclip, but the converted file have a 2 second difference in the audio and video.

That was a typo. I meant megapupload.com. Just click on the link beside the video title on page 1.

This is great, Ludwig!! Thank you so much.

I have one question. After three downloads, I get a message that the download limit has been exceeded so I therefore need to upgrade to a premium service. Is that everyone's experience? I'm just curious because I use Mac so am wondering if PC users get the same message because no one else seems to have mentioned it. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but it's the first time I've used megaupload.

Re: POST: Rolling Stones Videos (Part I)

I don't know for sure. Does the message say "upgrade to premium service or wait xxx minutes/hours before the next download"? Or do you have to download the Megaupload Toolbar to get unlimited access?

Every host has it's own download rules. Download restrictions can be found every where the service is for free.

You always have to read carefully what every message says (depending on the host) to know what to do, how much files you can download per hour or day and so on.

And there should be no difference if you use PC or Mac I guess.

Thanks again, Ludwig. I get both messages and the Megaupload Toolbar is only for PC. It's been more than those XXX minutes now, so I'll try some more...
