vancouver........the version of RTJ that you said you didn't have from FT. Worth 6/24/72 2nd show is the same one that's on the Ladies and Gentlemen soundtrack. I think you have that one listed as being from the 1st show but I'm pretty positive it's from the 2nd show so you actually have that version of RTJ already up there.

....also, what release of the Ladies and Gentlemen soundtrack did this come from?

Hey vancouver........thanx for posting all this stuff........I already had it all but I downloaded the L&G part anyhow cause alot of it sounded better than the versions I already had. But anywayz, it's given me an idea. I have a few obligations......posts I have to make and stuff and when I'm thru with that, I'll post (if anybody wants them) the 1973 European Tour soundboards....including tracks from Wembley 9/9/73, Newcastle 9/13/73 1st show, Munich 9/28/73 2nd show, Frankfurt 9/30/73 2nd show, Hamburg 10/2/73 1st and 2nd shows, Essen 10/10/73, Rotterdam 10/14/73 2nd show, and of course Brussels 10/17/73 1st and 2nd shows...none of these shows are complete except the 10/17/73 1st show but I'll post what I have if anybody wants it.

Thanks for sharing this great tracks with everyone.

As for Pittsb. I find the unwashed tracks you posted a few weeks ago sound better than the washed ones. The trebble is tto prominent and the bass has almost disappeared. I have washed tracks in the past and at first they sound clearer but then, with continuous listening I tend to find the sound unbalanced. It's only my opinion. Do you still have the unwashed tracks?

1 - i used "old time radio "
2 - i used "high soft " i wanted to get rid of the distorsion,,,,

listen to it on my stereo (sounds diff there,than my comp )

Try this:

1.- Graphic equalizer- Vocal presence cut
2.- Parametric equalizer Hum and hiss removal on center frequency click 1 and 2
3.- Parametric eq Mackie low cut
4.- Paramet...High softener
5.- parametr...mackie mid cut

You can skip step 3 if you prefer more bass.
Tell me how it went. I've tried these steps with gimme shelter

Concerning equalisation , I recommand to work with a good hifi headphone and not with regular PC speakears (even the best with bass amplification) because the sound is too coloured !
I used to hear the mp3 on my hifi amp in direct sound without any equalisation nor bass-treble adustment.

When I try to do equalisation I use Nero and his tools , and I privileged what I hear in the headphone making numerous adjustments and comparaisons with direct sound.

Adjustments are made with what to do with the source :
more bass
more cymbals on drums
and so on ...
not making trust on any preset but better try !
