Are either of the SF shows in good quality? The guy at RS Concerts claims to have the 15th available in A+ soundboard quality but I am skeptical of this claim. The Exile people wanted over $60 bucks for the pair in average sound.

Hi there. I'm a little confused by the title of your post, but here is what I know & I hope it helps:
The 'Going To California' 4cd set is actually the Hollywood Bowl shows issued by the 'Dog & Cat' label. That release contains the 'ADL' (Audio Listening Device) 'soundboard' recordings of those shows. These are pretty good, but not the 'perfect soundboard' that some might expect.
I think what you are referring to are the shows from SBC Park, San Francisco. These are NOT soundboard (I have this 'Exile' 4cd set), BUT- they are SUPERB audience recordings- particularly the first show IMO (the guitars are a bit more buried in the mix on the 2nd show). If you have the 'Houston Dec'1st '05' recording- they are of similar quality to that. I would say grade 'A' audience- quite bassy, but I like that.
Hope this helps.
PS: I'm not a big fan of the 'Exile' label, but their 4cd 'Bang In The Park' is superb & well worth $60 if you can afford it.

No Ex,
I'll post a few songs from each show later and you can decide if you want the whole show(s).

Sounds like a plan. Sorry for the confusion. "Bang in the Park" is what I was referring to. Do you have any experience or opinions on what is offered at RS-Concerts.com
