On Tell Me someone mentioned a dimeadozen torrent. Maybe I cannot search, but I can't find it. Almost all other European shows uptil now, but noooooo Paris...

Anybody any clues?

No, Paris hasn't surfaced on Dime so far. Like Hannover, Cologne, Amsterdam, Zürich...

Thanks. Looking forward to it.

Btw, there's an excellent quality audience recording of Stuttgart 2006 on Rocks Off ("The Rolling Stones - Stuttgart 2006") which is far better than the version on Dime.

Sorry open-g, they are very rare, seldomly available because it takes a very special, strong and expensive kind of patience to stand the waiting for such things. I found this one on an obscure market somewhere in Paris, it has been enchanted by an old medicine man, slightly bold, with all kinds of things in his wild hair, and with an everlasting smile on his Pirate-face. And a skull-ring on his big knockles.

The best way to find such a can of patience is to think of something else very hard and for a very long time... until the recording surfaces... ;-)

yeah midnrambler is absolutely right

the quality is awsome, maybe the best boot of the European BB tour I tell you that !

almost sounds like a soundboard !

Yes Stuttgart2 is good, I wouldn't call the Dime version crappy tho. Further back in the venue, a bit distant, more 'space' in the recording, but not crappy.

What do want for nothing? Rubber Biscuit? (With apologies to the Blues Bros)

Thanks for your kind words vox12string!

We drove home after Stuttgart which took us 7 hours. Back home Jules started with the transfer and I went straight to office. About 4 hours later he came by to hand over the CDrs with the show and after I finally got back home I immediately prepared the torrent (haven't slept for about 30 hours by then). BUT it was on Dime as quick as possible. Everybody was happy with it but as soon as the very good source of Vossman turned up on TDD our source turned into crap and was stated as inferior. Sh*t happens:-)

Anyway, I kinda learned my lesson. Never again I will seed a show that quick. It's better to lean back and wait (like the people which recorded A'dam, Hannover, Cologne, Paris...).

cheers
silkcut

I like the first one better, the guitar in the new torrent sound distorted

I cannot understand why some peoples are so ungrateful. Well, I am not, so thank you very much silkcut for your Stuttgart version!! And the only lesson you can learn for this is that you cannot please everybody. Even if you give something for free there are always peoples who won't appreciate it.

Paris seems to be falling behind... Please reassure me that it will surface some day... :-(

I sent the 2 CD set to a guy but he finally didn't want to put it on Dime because there were some flaws on 2 or 3 songs

I explained him that it was an audience recording so it's not perfect but it's not that bad neither

So I'm gonna try to put it on the Rocksoff tracker if I find how to do it

Would really appreciate to see Paris on Dime or Rocks Off, Stonefan :-)

There is a discussion about putting things on Dime in this thread: [www.iorr.org]

Unfortunately, I don't know much about it myself.

Ah, I see some light peeking over the horizon... open-g, it seems that our supply of patience-cans is just about enough... ;-)

Hi,

I've just put the SDF boot on the Rocks Off tracker

it's a good audience recording with flaws on 2 or 3 tracks

Enjoy
