Help me with the history on this: why was Mick Taylor playing with them? I had read that during the '81 tour Mick was ready to sack Woody a few times. Was this one of them, or a random happening?

To you guys asking the questions, Taylor was in town playing with Alvin Lee, he
came by to party with Keith & Ronnie, and Keith asked him if he wanted to play.
It was billed, at the time as:
At the personal invitation of Keith Richards, Mick Taylor will be playing with
the Rolling Stones tonite. Jagger was still pissed at Taylor for quiting.
That might be the reason Taylor wasn't allowed to plug into the Stones "wall"
of Amps, was only given a little Amp onstage, Taylor had to turn it up to
hear himself, and the Soundman, turned him down so low in the mix you can barely
hear him!!!
