Anyone got any of these shows? I've been told by you lot that the boys were off their heads on LSD! This I've got to hear! Ta!

They're not off their heads in Perth. That's a brilliant and sharp show. Buffalo Aug. 8th 75 though, is very wierd.

There were 2 Buffalo shows in 1975. They played in the Memorial Auditorium (about 16,000 seats) early in the tour and by all accounts was a great show for both the audience and band. The Stones liked the experience enough that they did the American tour closing show in Buffalo...but at 80,000 seat Rich stadium. By all accounts this was a sloppier show, with some weird moments....with lots of partying going on beforehand.

I have not heard a recording of either show, unfortunately...and missed both.

My first Stones show happened 3 years later, in 1978, at Rich Stadium. 75 minutes of energy. I was hooked, and still am.

I would have loved to have been at either of the 1975 shows, but at 15 years of age, my conservative parents thought I was too young. I had to wait till 16 for my first concert....and it was a huge step down from the Stones: Elton John......zzzzzzzzzz

I just hope the boys extend the tour back to North America, and play a few cities they missed last time, like Buffalo.

My first show was NJ 1978. I love the fact that there are boots of this show because all I remember of it is my buddy getting caught in the men's room for a blow break during either and endless Whip or Imagination

They played Buffalo so the Canadian fans in general and the Toronto fans in particular could show up. All this spooge about liking a particular city is hogwash. It is and always has been about the money and the drugs.

"The wonder of Jimi Hendrix was that he could stand up at all he was so pumped full of drugs." Patsy, Patsy Stone

You may be right Menace. I am sure that Mick and the band's management have looked at it that way for the last 20 years.

In 75 and 78 they still played some gigs that didn't revolve around how many people they could pack into a stadium...and tix were still halfway reasonable.

Goodnight America is the CD for the 75 Rich Stadium show:

The artwork is bogus because it was an outdoor stadium show without the lotus stage.
