Which version / pressing?

I paid £25 in London two years ago for the double cd on Rattlesnake.

It was worth it, especially when you hear Angie and You Can't Always Get What You Want.

Cheers,
Steve.

Hey Potted Shrimp, what versions/pressings are there, and, which are/is the best?

I believe the 2cd Sister Morphine, 'Timeless Europe' is the best. It has Brussels plus trax from Newcastle, Wembley & Rotterdam. I only have this as mp3's but even that is mighty fine

Here's another suggestion, Rank Outsider:

-Europe '73 (VGP - Gold CD, remastered, 5th edition, important)
-Nasty Music (VGP) (almost the same as Europe 73, but 4-5 other versions of songs)
-Back To The Graveyard (OBR) (all the rest like Brussels 2nd show, Frankfurt, Newcastle etc.)
- The Jean Clarke Memorial Sonic Barbecue (VGP) / The Stars In The Sky They Never Lie (Mcool smiley (Essen and Hamburg)

This is what you need to get the complete and best possible quality CD's from SB of European Tour 1973.
Erik.

Here's a link that will tell you all you never wanted to know about Brussels '73. It's mind-boggling to see what's out there.

Links are lucious, but samples are tasty

Can't help with any samples @ the moment, in the middle of a 5cd 'Vaults' torrent. Patience.

I see second-hand versions of this for around $5US tops ! Quite cheap.
But I wouldn't pay more than $15US for a brand new one as VGP (and a few others) have released upgrades of the original "Brussels Affair".

Europe '73 (VGP-011, 5th edition or newer) is the one to looking for. I guess the price for it is something between $30 and $40 if it's new. I don't think you can find the used one much lower than $25. If I would buy only one Stones bootleg I would buy this one.

Good alternative is Rattlesnake's Brussels Affair Definitive Edition. It is 2CD and the price is much lower than VGP's. I think it would be quite easy to find it from eBay for $25 or even less. I used to had this, but I sold it when I bought VGP-011.

VGPs's Nasty Music is good alternative too, but you must be carefull with it because VGP has released it with various names and also used name "Nasty Music" with other releases too.
