Ooooooooooooool BB just heard SOAF for the very 1st time...

very nice goingmad and all in chronological order - let me know if you manage to squeeze them all onto an 80min CD. Methinks 'Gimme Shelter 89' was a legit release (not a promo) on Cassette. Although it did feature on a promo CD which included all the 'Gimme Shelter' cover versions recorded for the Shelter Charity.

There's one live track you may be missing from the set - a live version of 'Out Of Control' which was released on a USA 4-track promo CD. This was recorded at Madison Square Garden on 16th January 1998. The Live version which appeared on 'No Security' was from Buenos Aires April 1998. Sorry can't help you with that one!

Don't know if this is helpful, but the live version frm Out Of Control appears also on the bootleg Babalonian Knights from Dandelion (DL 070/71). I have that one meself. It is a Don Was remix by the way (you don't hear the audience at all)

It sounds pretty good but my info is that this is not a real Rolling Stones track. The two Bootleg CDs which turned up for sale with unreleased BtoB mixes were filled with the products of bootlegger tampering. If anyone has more info on this...

Im looking for the long version of Tell me from the vinyl LP. I have heard where this version is over 4 minutes long and has never been released on CD.

What you're after, Happy Jack, is the first English pressing of the record. I recall listening to this when it came out & noticing that the end of the song just stopped dead, no fade out. I don't recall for how much longer it goes than the cd version. I have a tape of a Canadian pressing from the mid 70's which fades out exactly as the cd one.

There is also another version of Tell Me, I believe for the American market, in which the instrumental is edited out, the rest is exactly the same. Would this be the very first Stones 'Edit' version?
