TIM RIES
2005-2006
« The Timkeeper gives time back to the saxblower »*
A project to celebrate Charlie Watts, who would have turned 85 Tuesday, June 2, 2026!
Part I: 11th October 2005: TIM RIES. US TV (DirecTV) 'Studio Jams'. Filmed live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, World Café Live.
Line-up: CW (dr)/Tim Ries (sax)/Chuck Leavell (keyb)/Chuck Loeb (gtr)/Gerald Veasley (bass)
For this program we have the video that BlueTurns2Grey is presenting simultaneously and an audio recording from nzb.
I intended to merge both sources, but the audio is different ftom the video!
- the rehearsals are missing so there’s no merge for these parts.
- the two last tracks are different
* for ‘Honky Tonk Women’ on the video, at 4’15, 46 seconds are missing.
I present first the merged parts (as they appear on the video) and as bonus the complete track (including the unmerged part).
* Belleli: the video corresponds only to the first part of the song (around 2 minutes with musicians’ comments and concluding message), where the complete track is around 6 minutes long!
I also present the merged version which corresponds to the video version and as a bonus, the complete audio version.
01 - short introduction by Charlie Watts (merged)

03 - Brother Ray (merged)
04 - Ashley (merged)
