It turned out to be a partial Jamming With Edward-track, albeit differently mixed (thanks to BT2G for the clue).

As NeddieFlanders wrote, a slightly different mix. Compared to the same track on the 1995 Virgin CD release, this one has less separation and switched channels (Ry Cooder now on the left).
