Anyone knows what this is all about?

This is not an official but some kind of Japanese bootleg like release.

An expanded edition of the Rolling Stones' 1966 masterpiece album appears. In addition to the latest sound sources of all tracks of the album faithfully remastered from the vintage master of the UK original MONO master, related songs, sessions, and outtakes are included.

This was discussed before. It is a bootleg or grey marked disc.
Here is a hint
Catalog No. EGPC-12
JAN/ISBN 4589767514532
Rolling Stones CDs are distributed in Japan by universal Music Japan. Thus, catalogue number should be UICY-xxxxx. This is strict. Here UI - Universal International, C - compact disc digital audio, 5" CD, Y - internal company letter/code, not regulated by industry, but generally used by Universal Japan for Western rock/pop music. xxxxx- catalogue number, 5 digits. What you have for this one is EGPC-12. A joke in terms of Universal catalogue.
EAN 458xxxxxxxxxx also belong to so called 'new companies EAN.' Universal Japan CDs are issued with barcodes that start with 498.
So, you know... The content, of that release, actually does not matter much. It might be based on anything. For example - copy/paste from In Mono box.

Thank you for explaining this. Than this topic can be deleted.
Are you sure that also the 60's albums from Decca/London/ABKCO are distributed by Universal Music Japan?
Do you have a link to the original discussion?

Catalog No. EGPC-12

It's by the Eternal Grooves label - [www.Amazon.co.jp] , [Tower.jp] , [www.CDJapan.co.jp] .

About Eternal Grooves: "A Japanese label, which is happy to sell its output of Beatles and other artists through commercial outlets such as HMV Japan and Amazon as well as independent record stores. They are unofficial product and should be considered at best as 'gray' releases, undoubtably copied from numerous sources." - [www.Beatleg.info] , [www.Discogs.com] .

From the Amazon product description:

The expanded edition of the 1966 masterpiece album “Aftermath” arrives!

- Remastered from vintage masters, featuring the original UK mono mix
- Includes additional related tracks, previously unreleased material, sessions & outtakes
- First Press Limited Edition Tall Case Digipak
- Includes detailed Japanese explanatory booklet/postcard

Featuring the latest sound sources for all album tracks, faithfully remastered from vintage masters of the UK original MONO, plus related tracks, sessions and outtakes. During their fourth US tour in autumn 1965, recordings at RCA Studios yielded around ten original songs. They promptly announced it as the album “Could You Walk On The Water?”, but the title caused controversy and it remained unreleased. Thus, in March the following year, they recorded new tracks: “Under My Thumb”, “Lady Jane”, “Paint It Black”, and “Out of Time”, completing the album “Aftermath”. This was the Stones' first album entirely composed of original songs, following the consecutive hits “Satisfaction” and “Get Off of My Cloud”, which had elevated them to the status of Britain's second-biggest band after The Beatles. Founding leader Brian contributed diverse instruments like sitar and marimba, adding colour to Jagger & Richards' compositions. This work laid the foundation for the mid-period Stones sound to blossom. Notably, the UK original release, containing all 14 tracks, became an unprecedented 53-minute long-playing album. However, released two months before the US version, the UK edition – which should have been the original – suffered an unfortunate fate when it was discontinued in 1997 when the ABKCO remaster became the global standard. For true fans, the UK release, reflecting the band's original intent, is the definitive version.

And that one is 146% legal home of The Rolling Stones ABKCO catalog in Japan winking smiley
Sure, it is not forbidden to press 'Pre-Order' button. The package might be great, as usual from Japan, even if it is a bootleg.

Sorry, I might confuse the forums. It was the end of November. For sure it was on Steve Hoffman's and in Facebook groups.

Could you perhaps edit your first post and make it more clear that this is an unofficial Japanese release?

The legendary performances from the Brian era were born here. This collection thoroughly chronicles The Rolling Stones' recordings at Chess Studios in Chicago, including previously unreleased tracks. During their 1964 U.S. tour, the band made its first visit to the home studio of their heroes Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Howlin' Wolf, and Bo Diddley. The session has become the stuff of legend, including the story that Muddy Waters was painting the studio at the time. Chuck Berry himself reportedly stopped by to offer encouragement, and the band, caught up in the moment, cut tracks such as "Around and Around" and "Empty Heart". Their first UK No. 1, "It's All Over Now", was also recorded here. At the very place where the giants of Chicago blues once stood, Brian Jones' slide guitar awakened. The Muddy Waters cover "I Can't Be Satisfied" is a standout performance in British rock history. Keith Richards fires off Chuck Berry-inspired rock and roll guitar on tracks such as "Down the Road Apiece". And perhaps the musician best suited to this studio was the "sixth Stone", pianist Stu, whose Johnnie Johnson-style playing gets to the heart of rock and roll. The band returned to Chess Studios in November 1964 to record "Time Is on My Side". In 1965 they recorded tracks such as "West Coast Promotion Man" and "Mercy Mercy". Numerous unreleased tracks including "Stewed and Keefed" and "Goodbye Girl" are included, and even familiar songs feel newly charged by the legendary pull of Chess Studios. An essential collection capturing the turning point where London kids inspired by the blues awakened at a sacred site and rose toward becoming the world's greatest rock band. Includes detailed Japanese liner notes covering background, episodes, and track information. Released as part of the Eternal Grooves "ROCK OFF" series.

I started doing something similar a while back and never finished.
I was going to do "Aftermath" and "Between The Buttons" both expanded using stereo CDs as the source.
Aftermath sources : Aftermath UK [ABKCO 8822952] and Aftermath US [UICY-93020]
BTB: UK [ABKCO 95002] and US [ABKCO 8822972]
with others to complete the project.
Same tracklist as this for Aftermath leaving "Con Le Mie Lacrime" and "Out Of Time" (US Version).
I had not decided whether to use the long or short version of "Goin' Home".
