Autumn Australasian L.A.S.H. Tour.

This series is dedicated to Mick Jagger's solo tour of Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.

Volume 25:

MICK JAGGER. 5th November 1988: Auckland, New Zealand, Western Springs Stadium

For this single New Zealand concert on Jagger’s 1988 Australian / New Zealand solo tour only one recording circulates: a video recording made by MidimanNZ who filmed the show from the balcony of a house that from a distance overlooked the venue.

On that day (at night) New Zealand like Great Britain celebrates 'Guy-Fawkes-Day', it’s also known as Cracker Night This is the reason that explosions (firecrackers, skyrockets, fireworks) can be heard often during the show.

There’s been a few different audio versions taken from the video recording with varying sound quality, most likely that’s because the audio was taken from unknown video generation copies. The best sounding one came from nzb and that’s one that I’ve used for Vol 25.

As usual the recording is now de-clicked and phase upgraded. I tried to lower the exterior noises (without using filters), but as this treatment was very long, I decided to not do it for the drum and guitar solos and also the encore break.

BT2G will use this recording as the soundtrack to his video upgrade that he will upload when it’s completed, he also helped to complete my denoise work: so, this is a shared project.

Many thanks StonyRoad!! The gem of this concert, and I beleive of the whole concert was Hard Woman, a beautiful song (the best ballad from Mick solo, and even a great classic here in Argentina). I knew this was played here once and never more. Is this thrue?
