Perhaps you all knew that there's a stereo version, which is rather rare. The US test pressing is stereo but hard to find.

The versions on Exile are in stereo. So, what is this about?

You're right, my problem is that I'm focused on T.Dice's singles (all mono) and a few days ago I found a US test pressing that is stereo.

When I was 11 my first Stones record was the Tumbling Dice 45, which I played on my parent's hi-fi (mono). Santa Claus left me Exile and an Admiral all-in-one stereo.

My first stereo experience was hearing Mick Jagger's voice alone (with no background singers) at the start of Tumbling Dice when heard solely through the left speaker. Mind blown and life-long passion ignited.

Thank you for the reply. I was surprised to discover that the mono mix was also edited differently from the stereo mix. I was interested to know if the test pressing was a stereo version of the mono edit.
