Can anybody post a link to download Jungle In Spain (PSCD 2127)? I understand it's a boot, not official stuff.

It is London, the well known BBC broadcast, not Spain. [www.discogs.com]

Then it seems it's a misdescribed "release"!

Any links to the correct show?

Hmmm ... [www.discogs.com] has two tracks at the end - Bitch and Can't Be Seen - that don't appear in Seventh Of July. Where do they come from?

They are bonus tracks from Tokyo Feb. 26.

I'm fascinated. Where did you get this information from?

I mean, it's kinda important to know how something stated as having been recorded live in Madrid is in fact a London performance plus two bonus tracks from a Tokyo performance.

Perhaps the bootlegger had a bit too much bootleg, i.e. moonshine.

Back in the 1990s, when this CD was released, I have bought it myself! And you can imagine how dissappointed I was as I heard what it really was.

Just as much as it must have been a disappointment, it must have been a very big surprise. I've searched, but I can't find any explanation. My moonshine theory is still in place.

That sure was a strange boot - stated as recorded live in Madrid, but nothing at all from there.

Ok, it's possible. It's more than 30 years that I had this CD. my memory is fading... But either way, it's pointless. BTW, the track order of London is mixed up too (probably to make it look like a different show).

Yeah, I noticed the track order is mixed up in two places, but at least it's all there. Perhaps the result of too much Spanish bootleg hooch.

If you can come up with those two tracks, that'd be good, then we can refresh and identify. Or if anybody else has it .....

That sure does help - thanks a lot! I'll take a listen and compare, presumably to arrive at both being from Atlantic City. I've already noticed that the track lengths are different - Bitch 2 seconds shorter, CBS 58 seconds shorter.

Then presuming you have the CD, can you send a good-sized shot of the Plaza Mayor insert opening? It's the only art for this boot that I can't find in good size.

NP, it's relatively incidental in the scheme of things. I'm pleased that you could come up with those two tracks for anybody to listen and identify. I'll get back with my conclusions when I have some time to give it undivided attention.

Given the title, but its content, I nominate it for "one of the strangest Stones bootlegs ever."

I tried comparing the "real" CD2 tracks 12 and 13 with their counterparts at Atlantic City and Tokyo Dome. I'm still not sure which of those two that they are!

Their on-stage styles are so consistent, at least through these times.

Can anybodt else listen and compane and post their opinions here?

Hey wired, your memory isn't bad at all. I listened really carefully - you're right about Bitch - I now hear the same. And Keef's opening "one-two-three" in CBS is noticeably slower in Atlantic city.

The verdict, therefore, is Toyko Dome for both. Have a on me!
