On Mixcloud someone has uploaded almost all complete BBC Transcription Service LPs "Top Of The Pops". These LPs were sent out to other (foreign) radio stations and contained songs from BBC programs like "Saturday Club", "Top Gear", etc. They are titled "Top Of The Pops". The LPs were not broadcast by the BBC itself in this form. The interviews and comments were partly specially adapted for this "Top Of The Pops" program.
On the BBC itself "Top Of The Pops" was a TV program, they used the same name for these LPs.

LPs with Stones content are the volumes 19, 45, 48, 189, 217, 245 - 250.
BTW, you can download and save the LPs e. g. with JDownloader. They are in m4a format.

I've downloaded the LPs with Stones material and compiled everything to have it together in one folder. There is nothing new, everything has been available before. And this is made from m4a files and is therefore lossy. the frequency range ends at 16 kHz. Old farts like me don't care about this because I can't hear higher frequencies anymore. But youger people may find this horrible and unlistenable... (I don't think so.)

Edit: A remark to the version of Honky Tonk Women which is included 4 times (!) on 4 LPs (always the same version): This version was recorded on July 3, 1969 for Top Of The Pops TV (a b&w video is also existing). While the version on the video has the usual solid ending, they edited it here on these LPs and repeated again the solo part after the last chorus and faded it out finally (or talked over it). Although it at first seems so, there is no new music in this version - it's just artificially extended at the end and the begining is always cut!

Well, this is a great thing, but it still misses side B of TOTP 2, which is the only one I am looking for.

Is there an index page to browse listing what bands are on the other disks? I would enjoy finding the Troogs for instance.
