Have you seen your mother Live UK Mono Export - need for information
Posted by: MrJoner ()

Good evening,

I've read so much about the legendary Have You Seen Your Mother LP... especially the magnificent Stones on Decca was a real revelation!

Now I'm thirsting more than ever to hear the original UK mono export mix!

Can anyone tell me from experience what the differences are to the London mono version?

Does anyone even have a vinyl rip that someone might be willing to share?

THANK YOU all so much!

The Mono version is too far out of reach for me but I managed to get a Decca Stereo copy. Nothing special about the sound in my opinion. Never heard anyone talk about how great this album sounds in any version. Maybe a Decca Mono owner will let us know. I'd like to hear their opinion too.

Yes...the Decca Export Stereo also sounds different, in my opinion better, rawer than the US London Stereo. The US London Mono has a much more authentic sound than the stereo, so it would be a true dream to hear this Export Decca Mono!
Who knows, maybe someone can help here.... Fingers crossed...

Sure there's a Decca Mono out there somewhere with all the PBTHAL rips. Also I would think it's on a bootleg but I don't have it or recall seeing it. I think after hearing the London Stereo LP as a teenager I gave up entirely on this record. The UK EP Got Live If You Want It is a fair recording. This would make a great project for an archive release. Where's Peter Jackson.

Of course you are right that this LP is Not everyones cup of tea...the EP and Charlie is my Darling Soundtrack make a far better impression of the rawness of a Stones Concert.

Anyways IMO the Have you seen your mother Livet /Got live LP are romoured to have been recorded in Its entirityin the studio...and while this is big foot terrain so to speak - I also believe this.

Would be very nice If this aforementioned UK Mono Mix would be available in a boot in the Archive...has someone more Infos?

Again many THX!!!

There is also this bootleg from DAC (no number, only official content), which contains also the Have You Seen... Live LP (omitting the 2 studio tracks).

Looks rather like 'No Label' (than from DAC) - [Discogs.com] .

Sometimes it looks what it is not. It is one of the unnumbered DAC (and before VGP) releases because of its official content. There are a few of them. Yes, DAC is not mentioned anywhere.

For what its worth my notes say it is from DAC. Another possibility is the VGP unnumbered.

It has a more varied track selection. Both the DAC and VGP are in that special part of stonesvault.
