Thanks, RayHongus!

... regarding the mp3/wav: as for proved by whom? Well, I am one! I had a similar argument w/ a coworker once and made my own files, brought them to work. He was NOT able to determine a difference, he walked away without even attempting to guess.

** edit ** btw, that was YEARS ago, probably around 2005, and at that time I ripped mp3 files to 128kbps (due to limited space on ipods at the time).

Haha yeah, I bet! You can def hear the difference between 128kbps and flac but 320 its no question. Also With 16 songs and like 14 stems per song it'd take so long to download everything and i dont even know if i would have had the space for it

Sorry to go off topic but this reminds me of the beer in a bottle versus a can. For years I was hardcore about the bottle being best. Finally after learning about new technology I understand the can is better. By the way I had the same hardcore opinion about WAV/FLAC over MP3. As long as the dynamics are good, the MP3 is okay with me. One more thing, if you can check bootlegs these days I'm not kidding to say some of the FLACS are around 5khz.

As lnog as the frist and the lsat letetr of a wrod saty at pacle, you can shffule

the remiainng leettrs and aomlst pfecrlcty raed a txet. Neevrtelehss, we perfer to

read it like this. And it's not even lossy.

losi is mor lik sis. if somone rids sis text, iu cant hiir a diferens. neferseles, we prefer it to read like this.

And is the second version really lossy?

And if you think long time concerned....
I think, it's just best to keep all the information. Maybe you don't need it now, but who knows?

But thanks RayHongus for your work!

RayHongus, sorry I just realized I didn't thank you for your work and upload. Instead I addressed the MP3/FLAC issue. Thank you for your generosity. Cheers!

Incorrect! Neither one is better. I was at a craft brewery tour about 10 years ago (weyerbacher) and they assured us that the only way to drink beer is in a jar/glass/mug. The reason they gave ... aroma, which the tour guide likened to drinking wine similarly. She stated the aroma is an important part of the taste and to achieve that, the drinker needs an 'open' area so the scent gets in as part of the taste.

Right or wrong, I am not sure, but it seems reasonable to me... and I drink my beer out of a glass/mug/etc. all the time since then!

320 sounds fine. I agree that the multitracks become cumbersome when lossless. I have some that are comprised of 14 tracks to make up one song adding up to 1.5 GB
The reason I keep lossless is to have the finest concentrated version of the recording. It won’t get any better than that direct transfer. After that it can be watered down into any version you care to listen to…but you’ll always have the authentic full bodied transfer to go back to when you want to try and mix it into something more shareable I guess you’d call it

Thanks Ray

Maybe I wrote it wrong. I meant beer is better stored in a can. Definitely must drink it out of a glass or mug. Unless it's old fashioned American beer like Busch/Pabst. Then it doesn't matter how you drink it.winking smiley

Thanks RayHongus

Bored, yesterday I took the best version of Philadelphia Special I could find, and used moises.ai inspired by @rayhongus to separate out the MT KR lead and rhythm tracks on GS (you can hear some Nicky H bleed). Not sure about the results, other than its slightly interesting. One can hear s/w aritfacts.

Its always fascinating to me how Keith and Mick T re imagined gimme shelter for the 72 and 73 tours. Its like a completely different beast of a song, If you need a reason why Keith is one of the rhythm guitar GOATS look no further. After the extended Mick T solo, and he just turns up and pounds the rhythm and Jagger starts screaming RAPE and MURDER is so awesome. I'd recommend the Pittsburgh 72 boot to hear a really good separated Keith and Mick T soundboard too

How dare you! Busch doesn’t belong in any conversation with PBR.
