Can anyone tell me which versions Nico refers to on [www.nzentgraf.de] (and what bootlegs they are on)? I’m not sure if they are rare or just very similar to some others.
691202A 2nd - 4th December: Florence, Alabama, Muscle Shoals Sound Studios.
- Brown Sugar IV (MJ/KR) -with second electric guitar joining after the intro riffs; final take of the day
BS IV was first presented as "Brown Sugar Final Take" by Ronald Starcjewski on YT.

700424A 24th April: London, Olympic Sound Studios. Final mixing.
- Brown Sugar IX (MJ/KR) -STU on piano, with Bobby Keys on sax, MT hardly audible
- Brown Sugar X (MJ/KR) -STU on piano, Bobby Keys on sax; much clearer mix of IX, earlier strike up of Bobby Keys
I don't want to refer about the later versions, there are surely different meanings about their track numbers and their quantity.
thanks in advance!

The versions IX and X can be found on Time Trip 1 + 2, there is 4 x Brown Sugar on them. IIRC 3 are the same and 1 is different. I can't say at the moment however which one is which...

As BT2G says, the version numbers are totally confusing. Everytime a new version appears all consequent versions are incremented, this is a total chaos...

Maybe [StonesSessions.com] - (Appendix Session List) could help due to the track runtimes. Bootlegs: [dbboots.com] .
