Because of your audio and the excellent videos of people that I mentioned in the filename.

I'm a taper myself and I film concerts and I've gotten used to my work being abused. But I don't take it too seriously. I've gotten used to it over the last two decades. My work isn't masterpieces, but you can still buy it from axxholes all over the world.

My explanation of this case:
In my opinion, everything that is published on the internet is public domain. What we do is a grey area anyway.

Just my opinion....Peace on Earth

it's not just that there playing well it's that senecastj's mixes sound better to me then a lot of there offical ones of recent shows

i played his mix of gimme shelter off soundcloud to a freind of mine thru headphones and he was stunned when i told him there ages (he's not a huge fan and wasn't aware of just how old they are)

his words to me where "can you imagine being that good and having that much power at 80"

they really need to release one of these shows

Only if it gets released. Some (many) tapers abhor that and do not release their recordings publicly anymore. As Seneca has said, best policy is to ask first. That should not be too difficult to.

Said it before in 2022, they’re kicking butt. No disrespect to Charlie, I miss him too. But if it’s good it’s good. Thanks to all the people who share their work and files here.

No current plans right now. Not a fan of giving free material for bootleggers to jump on. Just my two cents.

Bootleggers are now downloading shit off YouTube, adding a menu and selling it.

Now the people I know who actually buy bootlegs don't seem to care about the music so much as being afflicted with severe OCD and needing anything with a band logo stamped on it. No way to "fight" what to me is mainly a mental health issue.

But they are sold in such small numbers if what I see is to be believed. There aren't going to be any bootlegs selling 10,000 to 100,000 units anymore

All fair points. I just have a possibly irrational (or at least disproportionate) hatred of folks taking my freely released recordings and profiting from them. Not irrational in my opinion. While 10,000 or 100,000 will not be sold 1000 copies is still going to be $40K to $60K in income. That's perfectly reasonable for a big band like the Stones, U2, Springsteen. Not going to support that since we are the ones spending the money and taking the risk. It is either don't care or don't share.
