It has expired anyway but there are better vinyl rips in circulation, which are not clipped, so there is no need anymore for this repaired version.

There's lots of those drop-outs. Almost seems like they were done on purpose???

And they are on multiple versions, sometimes in the left channel and sometimes in the right.

I'm not sure yet but I'm thinking that the dropouts aren't on VGP 278.
Or maybe somebody fixed them on that one???

The Lurch records version is possibly the best, although incomplete of course.
And I'm not sure yet but maybe there's some dropouts on it also???

Yes these dropouts are everywhere, on every release. On VGP 278 they are fixed, you hear it if you know the place and listen closely.

To me it seems like some kind of overload protection is triggered due to a too loud signal and it switches off the (analogue) signal for a short time.

Since most of the show is mono I have simply used the other channel for a second or so at the dropouts there. The 3 or 4 dropouts where the signal is stereo I tried to fix by amplifying the signal. I did not want to make it mono here, that would not have sounded well.
