I picked this up recently, recorded at LA Sports Area 26 April 1975.

[we.tl]

Raving and Drooling / You Gotta Be Crazy / SOYCD / Have a Cigar / SOYCD

Dark side of the Moon / Echoes

Recorded by the legendary Mike Millard - what a debt we owe to this man!

Why did you buy this? You could have downloaded it for free. Buying his recordings has Mike Millard turning over in his grave. Every one of his recordings has been made available FOR FREE.

I am 'old school', Daspy and for excellent quality recordings, I prefer a physical copy and it was not that expensive. I don't think MM will be turning over in his grave on this one. I have had some of his recordings on vinyl for over 40 years - LZ Badgeholders and RS Tour of the Americas 1975 - long before free downloading but admittedly in the era of snail mail cassette trading. Each to their own!

Advertised by Wicker Man as "..their penultimate show there on 26th April was recorded live for FM radio broadcast."

It's an excellent Mike Millard audience recording. A lot of these 'grey' releases are described as FM radio broadcasts but they are not.

Yes, I know, should have put a laughing emoji on my comment, hopefully for those who buy it, they will know its Millard and not a FM. Just another instance of false advertising.

The reason is that there is that strange copyright gap, according to which radio broadcasts that are older than 50 years (or 30 or whatever) fall obviously out of copyright. No idea why only radio broadcasts and why at all. Therefore those "bootleggers" make simply radio broadcasts out of every more than 50 years old concert, so they think they can release it. Weird...

or in this instance advertising and selling it as a FM broadcast when it is in fact an audience recording.
