It's rude of you to say that other people's posts are meaningless.

I've been enjoying this place for many years, but this is the first time I've encountered someone complaining about someone else's post. It's very annoying.

1. If it was intended for particular people to download why not email them direct?

2. The link was posted in a public forum for anyone to download or not.

3. I assume the particular people in 1. above know what the contents are because they requested it from you.

4. For anyone else not included in 1 or 3 above, they may be interested but have no idea what the contents are unless they download it.

5. For those in 4 above, they may find they have the contents already and may be unhappy because they wasted their time and bandwidth.

6. It doesn't take much to include a sentence or 2 stipulating what the contents are.

7. In your last post I asked for contents and some kind person who had downloaded it posted the contents, thank you to that kind soul.

8. I have 3000 LZ recordings so very doubtful I would download, but it is always interesting to see what the contents are.

Not being rude or argumentative, just making a sensible request to include more info in the post than just a link.
