good idea, tks for your upload.
absolutely agree with you about sound quality of Rattlesnake box Touring Party 1972, it is also somehow muffled.
looking forward to listen to the songs tomorrow, which ones are vinyl rips ?

This compilation is already available more or less in this form on the Rattlesnake box Touring Party 1972 and on VGP's Plug In Flush Out. However I do not like the sound of the Rattlesnake box. It is compressed and clipped and sounds bad and loud IMHO. The VGP sounds better, but I tried to use even better sources if possible. Especially a vinyl rip of the 2 LPs "Philadelphia Special".

I bought the Rattlesnake Box when it came out, and I thought it was deeply flawed by the No Noise or whatever processing was employed. However, there was a subsequent Box Set called Work Sucks, Let's Go On the Road (8cd) which wholly upgraded everything on the Rattlesnake Box to where it became my "go-to" for digital of the 1972 Tour.
Note to Wired - if only for a baseline of reference, you might wish to download Work Sucks to consider it as a startign point, because it runs laps around the Rattlesnake. You may be able to find it here:

Thanks Wired All Night, and thanks for the repost Rank Stranger. Looking forward to hearing this. I don't get why some love all the compression used on so many boots
