THE ROLLING STONES / KICK OFF! European Tour 1982 SOUNDBOARD (2CD)

This is the soundboard master of the Stones' 1982 live performance! !

The world's first unearthed soundboard master!

What a feat if not astonishing! A super rare 1982 sound source that Stones fans will be ecstatic about! !

And the miracle continues! It's a live performance at the Capital Theater in Aberdeen on May 26th, the first day of the warm-up gig of the 1982 European tour!

The soundboard master unearthed this time is from the opening to the middle of "Let Me Go".

It was recorded from a master cassette owned by the engineer at the time, so you can enjoy it on a super high-quality sound board! It's super cool with the best mix that Bill Wyman's bass roars.

All the photos used on the jacket are from the day, and the color photos are very valuable. You can feel the hot heat unique to small venues.

It's amazing that at the beginning of track 2, disc 1, the announcer shouts out thank you for waiting, <...> Texas, THE ROLLING STONES!
So what do you think: Texas or Aberdeen?

Aberdeen it is. Thanks a lot!

Sounds like he says "Abilene, Texas" and there is a crossfade.

If you have them handy first thing to do is compare to the 4 Texas shows but it sounded like a theatre / enclosed space with the first cheer.

Thanks so much, this is killer!

One side of tape is soundboard, then crossfades into audience during Let Me Go

Amazing share, thanks again!

Also, and this comes as no surprise but the setlist.fm entry as of now is not accurate.

But there was never a show in "Abilene", Texas or even something similar sounding. Maybe he says "Aberdeen, Texas". Maybe the speaker was mental still in the USA from the last tour... winking smiley And yes, I agree that this intro is edited in here and obviously comes from another show.

Only the speaker intro is taken from another year/location.
The rest is from Aberdeen, soundboard until "Let me go" then audience.

Yes, and the audience recording is already known and circulating.

The first un-official appearance of Chantalilly Lace (besides London 82 on the box) is what I meant :-)
