The mp3s frankotero posted are 320k. These have a frequency limit around 21.5-22 kHz. This one however is already cut at below 16 kHz. So that would mean that the EVSD discs are even much more lossy than these mp3s are.

The Mayflower 255/256 I used for my merges is also lossy
the spectrum (and the sound, even not so 'boosted') are closer.

Here is a quick and modest remaster of Tumbling Dice using AI... Couldn't extract the keyboards to reduce them (the software has its limits!) but lowered the drums and Mick's voice (added a little reverb to make the voice less dry)and pushed the guitars.

But AI couldn't fix the poor performance (IMHO)...

Let me know what you think!

Enjoy

I did convert it to 320kbs. That's where I keep my settings on the program. Usually I convert WAV/FLACS for myself that remain above 15khz. Unless it's absolutely obvious I can't tell the difference much because of Tinnitus.

didn't check Dorn's link so not sure which source it is, but here is the mayflower release I found Wetransfer LA Mayflower , looks like it's good for 7 days. Enjoy

Overall, the Mayflower release is the best sounding quality + balance wise (since senecast toned down the guitars, otherwise I'm confident that would be the winner) and it's really great to hear them with this quality from this tour. Especially if you were able to go...this show was a dam good one!! Keep having to remind myself they are 80

Enjoy and thank you to the Stones who keep on rolling...

What is it?
Do you remaster the EVSD release?

Hope somebody can mix the guitars in higher/better. Keith's vocals higher during his set would round it off. What we have already isn't bad though, all things considered.

Thanks for sharing this one. My head is spinning trying to keep track of which is which.

I seem to have 3 versions of this IEM. This one looks like it would be closer to the original recorded sound. The other two are both compressed quite a bit.
Limited anyway. They're about 4dB louder. And have EQ applied that's not present in this one.

This one has very low level content above 16K that when amplified would look like a bit more high end. Would seem to increase the high end.
Which seems to be what was done to one of the louder sources.

not blind, was blindmansbluff, is acetboy

Here's the Mayflower version. It's slightly better. Reminder- there is no lossless version available.

Thanks. Why should there be a lossless version? Probably the IEM itself is lossy because these elder guys on stage cannot hear the higher frequencies above 10 kHz anyway. So they save bandwith in transmission... grinning smileywinking smiley

(This was a joke, before you start useless discussions.)

Indeed, a third guitar. It´s not Mick.

Pierre?
