Rolling Stones at one of their live peaks. Great recording for the era and great performance.

Strangely your version runs slower especially toward the end than the version I have.

The farewell posts make me think that maybe he or she is as the JJ Cale song goes, the sensitive kind.

Sad to think of this recording just sitting on a shelf for 54 years or restricted to a small circle. But nice to have it now due to rskinno.

It is a very nice version of the show. You should grab it and don't forget to say thanks.

Can't check now because I have all older versions (including VGP-261) on various harddrives in a different location, but what always bugged me was the distorted/overloaded sound that is more or less absent here.

So it could be a different source or a lower tape generation before distortion crept in...

Anyway, it sounds really good - thanks a lot for what I consider as a (major?) upgrade of one of my favourite Stones shows, rskinno!

Judging from the crowd noise and the cut in the tape after "You Gotta Move" this is the same source as VGP-261.
