Thanks a lot Glimmerman - what a great track to celebrate MJ's 81st birthday!
KR mentioned the songtitle in his autobiography Life in context with working titles around the time of the Exile On Main St.-sessions.
But this comes clearly from the session with B.B. King at Ocean Way Studios, L.A. in March or April 1997.
So I have 3 theories:
- they recycled just the songtitle
- they did a re-take of that early 70's outtake
- KR got the timeline wrong in Life
