It's perfect that you try... here in Argentina I have concerts by Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney and Iron Maiden... I'll see if I can record with my cell phone, which is the only thing I have for this.
Stick around in the taping hobby...lots of cool tapers in the bay area.

Hi,
This is my first, and probably my last attempt to record a show. The equipment I was wearing really hindered my enjoyment during the concert. Around me there were many people clapping, screaming, singing and jumping. I completely understand them, and I would do the same if I wasn't recording. At the last moment, I gave up the external microphone because of the control at the entrance to the stadium, so the sound is quite distorted. The wind also contributed to this, which affected the sound quality. I hope you will not be harsh in your judgments, after all, this was my first, amateur attempt! Enjoy the recordings, edit it, or do whatever you want with it.

You have done more than most on this board. No one (well maybe one person) said taping first shows easy. It is difficult to do it all when first learning for many reason. Security seems daunting until one has confidence and the routine is not natural. After hundreds of shows it doesn't detract from the experience but becomes part of it. Learning at "easy" shows always helps which is how I taught my son years ago. After a few shows he went and did Paul McCartney at a stadium and did a good job. His first tries not so good.
