Ron Wood: a private view

It seems that Ronnie Wood planned a video documentary called "Ron Wood - A Private View" in 1982, which has never been aired (or even completed). Many parts of the source videos, mostly shot by Mark Pines, appeared on archive.org quite recently. Most of the circulating videos are very compressed, so it was the idea to get these in best quality. It took endless hours to download mega-files with 10 -70 GB per film and to separate uncompressed audio. These files were partly in mono, partly silent but mostly in better quality than all we had of this before. For this series, only the musical content was of interest.

Thanks to my two accomplices for their help, advice and inspiration.

eleventh part:
RW with Family and friends

In this part you will find sequences coming from Ron Wood family life testimonies in 1982.

Part I: Family Life: RW (on guitar and vocals) in the garden of a rented house in Los Angeles in late September 1982 (coming from Protection Master_62)

Part II: 21st August 1982: RW at his parents' (Arthur & Lizzie) home in or near London (coming from unnumbered Protection Master)
06 – YOU’LL NEVER KNOW - Arthur Wood on voc + harm, some bvoc by Lizzie Wood joined by RW at last seconds
07 – banter and warm-up including ‘One More Drink For The Four Of Us’ - Arthur Wood on voc + harm, some guitar by RW
08 – CIGARETTES, WHISKEY AND WILD, WILD WOMEN -RW on gtr, Arthur Wood on voc + harm
09 – FOR ME AND MY GAL -RW on gtr, Arthur Wood on vocals, some bvoc by Jo Wood

Part III: 21st August 1982 (until early morning hours of 22nd August) barbecue party at KR's home 'Redlands' in West Wittering, England
Coming from Inventory at Keiths_Recorded_1982-08-21
10 – CHUCKY NO LUCKY -RW playing some piano, accompanying the playback of a reggae song by Isaac Hayes
11 – APARTMENT NUMBER NINE -KR on piano and vocals, RW on guitar

13 – unidentified song -KR on piano, RW on guitar, Arthur Wood on vocals

Part IV: on Jamie’s birthday party in a rented house in Los Angeles on September 25, 1982 (coming from Protection Master_54
14 – fast rock ’n’ roll instrumental -RW playing with amplified acoustic guitar
