Show Notes:
Another quality performance by the Stones. I do miss them playing on the b-stage, felt very underutilized now.

Recording Notes:
Decided to create this novelty mix. It's a three feed mix with both keyboard player (and one of them plays french horn too). I dropped in a little of Mick's feed to give a bit more vocals. Guitars are there but recessed. Most of the time the keys are more recessed in the PA mix, while the guitars drive the sound except for specific songs. This mix flips the script and keys are nice and upfront.

As always, encouraging people to get into taping and mixing. Just take the craft seriously and it will reward you many times over. There's no point in complaining about missing recordings or subpar quality if you're not contributing--pushing 1's and 0's around on the internet is no comparison for taping.

IEM recordings are not for everyone. If not they're not your thing, either sonically or ethically, well at least you didn't spend any money on this.

Similarly, I'm mixing primarily for my ears. This is what sounds best to me. This may not sound best to you. That's a fair statement. I'm open to honest criticism (although you should have caught me when I was working on the mix!), but pointless complaining is unappreciated (naturally). Let's play nice.

Feel free to remaster/remix this recording. Just keep it to your own computer and iPod, and do not redistribute.

Do not sell in any shape or form!

Please do not remaster or use this audio for any video project or personal youtube/soundcloud/etc page. It's considered offensive to take the audio/video and co-opt that hard work without permission. Especially folks that "remaster" the audio, while overloading and distorting the audio. If you want to remaster the audio...go back to the original recording and do your own (with taper permission!)

While it's released for free on the internet, and I can take no real action if somebody takes the audio, I ask that you honor this simple request. After all, the only logical alternative to stop folks co-opting the audio is to simply stop releasing material on the internet, and just restrict it for sharing with other tapers. Be a part of the solution, not the problem.

Hoserama / Sharebear / Senecastj this is really cool... thank you so much for sharing. Seriously!! They played really well this show too. Know from every snippet you've released you really do great work taping and mixing... I have no idea how you (guys) do such things to get such a great recording so it's always super awesome when something like this comes out. Even if it's a Keys forward mix still really clear sound and looking forward to listening in full.

I will not distribute or sell you have my word, only enjoyment! Curious how you get to a point where you get all 8 tracks (even though this is only 3 mixed) because I have no idea where to start even if I wanted to tape. Unfortunately my finances likely won't allow for me to get where I want on that front before these guys are winding it down but I guess I'll never say never on both my front (and theirs)!

Buy 8x IEM receivers (at about $1,400 a pop). Show up eary in afternoon for soundcheck to try and identify feeds. Sneak in the 8x packs + recording equipment past security. Needs to be specialized multitrack recorder(s) as opposed to the normal stereo recorders that most AUD tapers run.

Wire everything up. Hit record during show, monitor to make sure everything is working ok and hope that your blood sacrifice to the taping gods in the morning was enough.

Played a little bit. It's like half a recording but thank you anyway. I will say this makes me excited for a possible official live album from the tour. Fingers crossed.

just a suggestion but one of these with darryl's bass instead of chuck would be interesting to hear too

are you intending to do a more conventional mix when you post it to dime?

Thank you for this recording. But I miss the guitars in this mix.

If you have 8 different channels, it would be fine to mix it in 5.1 or 7.1 surround

Sort of but better to think of each feed as a submix. So Darryls feed emphasizes bass and drums but has a nominal amount of the rest of the band. It's not quite a straight send of individual instruments.

Now you can dissect the feeds with AI stem tools and build a mix up from that, which is what I topically do. Don't currently have a surround sound setup so just stick with stereo. Maybe one day.

Never say never, but I'm not too inclined to hand material over for bootleggers. A nice multi-iem matrix would big ticket item for the bootleggers.
