Godfather Records/Bruce Springsteen question

One of my favorite all time Bruce Springsteen vinyl boots from the 1984 Born in the USA tour was a well known title called "This Guns for Hire" played at the Spectrum in Philly on 9/18/84. This was a great sounding audience boot at the time. By the time Bruce & company played these groups of shows in Philly, they had their chops down and delivered some fine performances, introducing deeper Nebraska cuts like State Trooper into the setlist. The original record I have is all scratched up and I would like to upgrade this to CD. It is my understanding per the Brucebase site, Godfather records later released its own version of this show in 2007 in great sound called "Philadelphia Special". Does anyone have contact information for Godfather Records or information on any clearinghouse or websites that carry their records for sale?

You can be discreet if you wish and contact me via e-mail at ssigel@rochester.rr.com. Thanks a bunch, Sighunt.

Can't help you with the Godfather info, but if you just want the music, you can download it here:

I appreciate your response very much. But the last time I used that site to download some music, my virus protection picked up some scary malware, so I'm hesitant to use it.

PS- I took a chance and tried to download that particular file and it indicated that the folder was empty???

I don’t have that one, but likewise I’m looking for “Live At Joe’s Place” if anyone has that one?

Much appreciated! Just as you sent me that I found a separate source on Internet Archive:

[archive.org]

The music source is reported to be remastered from Mark Persics master recording.

Thank you for responding and sending me to the link to Filefactory.
