It probably started with Mickboy on the Yahoo groups in the early 2000's, remastering both albums and common bootlegs and had quite a bit of adoration at the time too. He was the first "brand" that I remember beyond the labels.
Putting it in perspective it may seem like a community of millions with only the Rolling Stones subset rampant with "bad behavior" when it's really a few thousand hardcore tops (probably more like several hundred), most of the rest being passive downloaders / listeners with perhaps a small handful of people manifesting their severe OCD via remastering and posting.
Not everyone is unfriendly to you. I've enjoyed some of your postings and have been happy to get them.
The only problem is when a taper said in their posting "Please don't touch this"......(And then you did....
...you didn't help yourself.
Some tapers say they don't worry if you remaster.

Not everyone is unfriendly to you. I've enjoyed some of your postings and have been happy to get them.

Denver looks to be the most taped show of the tour so far. Widespread Panic is open taping and their fans covered it well. I believe there are at least four sources all made with top level gear. I have no idea if / when anything is shared publicly.
