POST: Mick TAYLOR with Mayall's BB - Springtime 1982 - Vol 11 - 1982.06.16 - BALTIMORE
with Mayall’s Bluesbreakers
in springtime 1982
This is a series dedicated to Mick Taylor’s shows with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in May and June 1982 when they toured California and the US East Coast.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.
Line-up: MT (gtr; some keyb)/John Mayall (voc, keyb, harm, gtr)/John McVie (bass)/Colin Allen (dr)

Our versions were identical. I used the one I already reworked and uploaded at IORR in 2016.
Here’s the textfile from back then:
I improved the beginning/end of the cdrs.
I edited out some defaults: in track 01 at 4s and in track 03 at 32s. Also I amplified the sound a little bit.
Here’s what I newly did: I declicked the recording, rephased and equilibrated both channels, I reworked the transitions between the tracks that now start with the song and most important I correct the speed.
The 2 parts of the recording, which correspond to the 2 CDs, are a little different. For the first CD it is the right channel which had to be amplified and the speed had to be slowed down by
-2.4%. Whereas for the second CD it is the left channel which had to be amplified, the speed even further slowed down (-5, 4%) and the 2 channels had to be rephased.
Note that ‘Ridin’ On The Santa Fe’ is incomplete
