This is a series dedicated to Mick Taylor’s shows with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in January and February 1982 when they toured on the US West Coast, in Australia, Hong Kong and Hawaii.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.

Note: Ridin' On To Santa Fé was played in an early version entitled Rock 'n' Roll.

This recording comes from an Australian FM radio broadcast and circulates with 2 different dates (01. or 11. February 1982). After having compared seven (!) versions I can confirm that they all come from the same concert. At the beginning of the concert John Mayall is saying "the original Bluesbreakers back here in your very city tonight" but we guess that “back” means that the original Bluesbreakers are back, not that they are back in Melbourne (which would have confirmed the 11th as the concert date).
Here I upgraded a version that I already reworked years ago (see the ‘docs’ file) because it was lossless and not saturated.
My rework consisted of: channels equilibration, sound amplification, deleting of some incomplete and boring radio speaker comments. The speed had to be accelerated by +0,88% (I used the version from the ‘archive.org’ as reference).

This series devoted to the concerts of the winter of 1982 is now over. Later I will post the spring tour (May and June) but first I will post, from Friday, a series composed only of shows that have never circulated… and which are really great!
