Ron Wood
with the
JEFF BECK GROUP
(1967 - 1969)
This series is dedicated to the first version of the Jeff Beck Group, the one that included Ron Wood in its line-up.
It is especially dedicated to the late Jeff Beck who passed away on January 10, 2023.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.

The recording for this show appeared on several bootlegs (see the docs file): all were taken from the same recording.
The version I used here is coming from ‘Beck To The Future’ because the sound was already reworked, lots of defaults deleted and it was not as hissy as the original tapes (which appear on ‘The Oldest Lost Tape’).
‘Beck To The Future’ was decelerated by -4% but comparing with others versions (for example ‘Jeff’s Boogie’) this was a mistake. In contrary it had to be accelerated by +1%.
Note that the tracks are often edited.
On all the versions a second version of ‘I Can’t Hold Out’ is added and wrongly titled ‘Dust My Broom’ (on ‘The Oldest Lost Tape’) maybe they had to play it (as an encore) twice because they ran out of songs? I compared it - it’s definitely not from any other circulating show.
This track had to be accelerated by +6,5%
All the infos are taken from ‘Woodworks’ by Nico Zentgraf: the database devoted to Ronnie Wood's work with The Birds, Jeff Beck Group, Faces and many others before joining The Rolling Stones. [
