This is obviously a very early version of that track, much more primitive than the one released on the "Goat" reissue so I'd would title it "Hide Your Love I"
Could it be recorded in Jamaica late'72 or is it the one recorded back in 70 during the SF sessions? (which would mean Nicky plays the piano).
Anyway it's a pure gem!
And yeah that's one of the songs where maybe MT deserved a co-writing credit, much more so than Keith?

Can't see how that would be Nicky playing that rudimentary piano, has to be Mick. Not sure about a co-write either based on that demo, Mick has the structure worked out at this stage, now they could have worked on it together earlier of course.

Nico has just updated his site...
The rumoured HYL I from 1970 has disappeared. Now he dates this v1 as coming from a May 73 London studio session.
And since Nico says the session happened over 2 days (May 23 &26) one can assume GM's version ("Hide Your Love" I) happened on 23/5 and the stronger more "mature" version on the "Goat" 2020 reissue ("Hide Your Love" II) was recorded on May 26.
