In Erwin's priceless book there is a mention of a CDR called "Out on bail '72" of the Boston concert.
This was created by some IORR members.

Can anyone share this one ?

The other one, from Vancouver, is an update from "Ginsoaked Barroom Queen in Boston" from the 19th of july, and also very welcome.

Again, thanks a lot, both of you smileys with beer

Actually, it was shared by watchit on 2008 @ Dime (it's the pitch corrected version of TornAndFrayed's REseed).

Here's the info (not included in your link above).

Torrent #202396 Rolling Stones Boston, MA 7/18/72 stereo, pitch corrected

Contrast clause:

This is the same recording as this torrent [www.dimeadozen.org] (*) except this one is pitch corrected by -2%. This version also uses 15 seconds of this torrent (**) [www.dimeadozen.org] to fill in a gap. If you already have the first torrent listed you might not want this one. Note that the first torrent is from a CDR copy of the CDR used for this torrent.

This is a stereo audience recording of the first Rolling Stones concert in Boston, July 18, 1972. It actually started in the early morning hours of July 19, because Mick J. and Keith were arrested earlier in the day. The first track begins with the news report, originally "released" on TMOQ's "Burning at the Hollywood Palladium." Quality is pretty good; this is an above average '72 recording.

This is different than the mono recording circulated by Joe Maloney. I did use 15 seconds of the mono recording to fill a gap in the stereo recording right after YCAGWYW. The stereo recording runs fast so here it's pitch corrected -2% using Adobe Audition. The stereo recording is sourced from a trade CDR, not any torrent or commercial bootleg; the 15 second mono patch is from a torrent.

Includes great art by Erik Snow with pictures from the actual concert. I call it "Out on Bail '72" which seems appropriate. ("Out on Bail" was originally the title of an LP + 45 for Passaic, NJ, 1978; later appropriated by TSP.) Includes cue sheet for playing or burning; note total time is 80:41 so overburning is required. Presented in FLAC 1.2.1.

This info was included by me in the torrent's folder of Boston Garden source #2 shared by mjake @ www.dimeadozen.org (source #1 is The Maloney Joe Archive)

Source: audience audio (source #2)
Lineage: unverified gen tape > CDR(x) > wav (EAC, secure mode) > flac (FLAC Frontend, level 8)

This new source is a very good stereo audience recording and in my opinion, it sounds better than source #1 (the Joe Maloney tape).

This recording is clear, there is very little tape hiss, it is well balanced and complete: Six minutes longer than source #1 and it includes the full "You Can´t Always Get What You Want", unlike source #1 which has a good portion of the song missing due to tape flip.

The exact lineage is unknown.

This legendary show started four hours late because Mick and Keith were arrested earlier that day in Warwick, Rhode Island en route to Boston for hitting a "newspaper man" photographer (there are variuos comments about the same from the stage).

Is this the source used for "Jailhouse Rock" (DAC)?

#2581947 by Lordbud
According to an email discussion I've been having, the DAC release used the Joe Maloney tape, except for the missing portion of "You Can't Always...".
If anyone can add anymore information please do.

This source is different from the Maloney source.
I´m not even sure if this source has been bootlegged, yet.
Thanks to watchit, he sent his disc to me back in 2006 before I torrented it.

All the CD bootleg titles I have heard (Jailhouse Rock, They´re Really Rockin...") use the alternate Maloney source.

Speaking of which: The best version of the Maloney source can be found here:

I'm a little late to the party but here goes.

I was recently informed that Idol Mind is soon going to be releasing a pitch corrected version of this stereo recording.

I had already made one myself back in Nov. 2007 but never shared it because there were so many other versions of this show going around.

I was going to share it a few days ago but never got around to it for various reasons. Now I see this is out again. My version is basically the same, from the same CDR source I copied for MJ, but slower, with the short gap at the very end of YCAGWYW patched from the mono Maloney source, and the news report moved to the front.

Any interest now or should I wait another 6 months? Anyone going to buy the IMP version?

The cover is a '72 vintage tank-top white jumpsuit shot of Jagger with a harmonica in his mouth.
The significance of July 18, 1972 is that Richards & Jagger were arrested in Warwick, Rhode Island en route to Boston for hitting a "newspaper man". An actual newscast reporting this event can be heard on the old double LP "Taxile On Main Street (What's Left Alive)" Town Records (242-HS A/B/C/D).
The Stones went on 2 hours late after being bailed out by the mayor of Boston!

# Rocks Off
Jagger apologizes for being late and mentions being thrown in jail for a "few hours"
# Gimme Shelter
"We're real pleased to be in Boston I'll tell ya, it's better than Warwick" - He goes on to thank the mayor
# Street Fighting Man
Closes with one of the rare '72 encores of:
# Honky Tonk Women

I was at this show. There are several amazing things about that night that are rarely, if ever, mentioned when it is discussed. First off, the opening act was Stevie Wonder. He played for at least an hour and a half stretching everything he had to the max. That was pretty cool but the experianced among us knew that something was amiss since opening bands on these tours never played longer than their 45 minutes plus encore. Stevie was very well received considering.
Then there was a very long break. The Stones were much more than 2 hours late. They didn't come on until after midnight. During the break, Kevin White, the mayor of Boston came out to address the crowd. He informed us that some band members had been busted in Warrick and that he'd called the governor of Rhode Island to get them released. (It seems that something "fell out" of Keef's pocket that he wasn't supposed to be carrying like a baggie or...). The reason for Mayor White's interest in this matter was deeper than the dissatisfaction of the 20k rockers in the Garden that night. He told us that there was racial unrest in East Boston and that he needed every cop he could lay his hands on to go deal with that. He laid it on the line as honestly as any politician I've ever heard. Told us that he'd sprung the boys and that they were on their way with Police escort but that in return he needed our help because he was going to take all the cops out of the Garden and bring them up to East Boston. "Part of my city is in flames..." They passed out frizbies and stuff for folks to play with, we gave him a rousing cheer and he left. All the cops left too. There was no incident of any kind. The Stones showed up about an hour later and kicked butt. They were ragged, but they were intense. The next night they were tighter but not as intense.
