What is a 'fake?'

Is the Mixed Emotions on the 1/2 speed master a fake? It's not the real version, is it?

The opposite of fake is real.

IS a fan-made DES remix fake if the fan makes it clear it's a fan-made creation?

Great job on adding the harmonica perfectly!

Imho fans have the right to be as creative as they want to be with outtakes but
they should keep their creations for themselves or they should share what they concocted with a disclaimer
("this is a Frankenstein job I did on my free time, not a genuine outtake" etc etc).

Could we have a repost of both glimmer man's post and the matrix please?
