Revisiting these gigs you can't help but notice the first gigs of the tour were in fact a bit rough. In June there's none of the brillance you'll find in the July concerts.
Plus - imo - when the tour landed in secondary markets (like Albuquerque or Tucson) they were maybe less keen on playing an impressive show. They would save their energy for big markets (like L.A.).

My opinion and just my opinion of course.

In a first comparison I can say that 'Beautiful & Fragile' it's the same source as the VGP, running at 0,35% slower. My version is lossy (coming from a forgotten tradind-cdr very long ago).

All the other version I have are from the same source but lossless

Here 'Beautiful and Fragile' I do nothing here except:
cdr--> EAC --> PC --> Winrar --> WT--> IORR

Does anyone have access to the film footage from this show?
I saw it on the old Getty Archives site, but it has since disappeared.
Footage included the crowd and security lined up outside the venue (it looked like a building in the middle of a desert).
Also partial footage of at least two songs, one of which was Sweet Virginia. I forget the one or two others.

I was able to identify the location by the security/police officials arm patches and vehicles.

The footage was not listed as being from Albuquerque in its title, it took some detective work.

Getty also had footage from Boston 1972. Mainly outside the venue when the Stones arrived with their escort from Providence.

I probably posted about this years ago when I discovered it if anyone cares to do a search.
