19720720+21 Philadelphia Normal - SBD [BTG]

First, this was started as a fun project to compare all known Philadelphia 72 soundboard tracks with the new "Multiband" Remasters. Imo they are made with AI, not from multitracks. I also know, that there are a lot Philadelphia boots and you might not need another version. Regardless of whether you like these or not, I wanted to put together the original versions, as complete as possible. By the way, not all Philadelphia bootlegs are actually from Philadelphia.

This compilation is made from the following sources:
[No Label 2] an unlabled edition
[VGP 259 V1] the tracks marked with (nr) are reworked (denoised softly)
[IMP 006] partly excellent quality, partly too much noise reduction with tools that produce metallic sounds, like "Cool Edit" or "Adobe Audition". Specially Midnight Rambler, Love In Vain and Sweet Virginia seemed to be denoised with these tools from the late 90ies. Nothing better was available then.

Another great compilation is Captain Acid's "Philadelphia Specialities Plus". It contains a complete show, made from the three Philadelphia concerts plus rarely played '72 songs. Midnight Rambler is, otherwise as noted, from Ft. Worth, 2nd show.

A negative example is the boot [Live USA], where all the tracks are mixed with the same fanmade additional audience.

Talkin' 'bout Midnight Rambler. I couldn't find a source in very good quality. They are all dehissed to death or come from different sources. It's the track with the lowest sound quality, imo. The VGP 259 version sounded best to me. I slightly denoised this song.
